Wanderson Orphanage isn't just sitting around waiting for donations. They are actively working! They rent a garden plot each year to grow food for the local community, and as a source of income. Nothing comes easy in Haiti, much manual labor is involved. You have to create your own opportunities.



Practical skills and work ethic





The kids at Wanderson Orphanage, aren't just sitting around waiting to be served. They are learning practical skills, and a good work ethic. Creating products to sell, and the incentive of entrepeneurship all provide a practical education for kids and give hope for the future.



Goats!





Goats have become an important resource for the orphanage. They provide fresh milk, and meat. A self sustaining resource which provide a learning experience for the kids... and are fun!
